Come on Triking owners, what’s happening out there!
Let’s hear it from Calgary to Calais, Australia to Ayeshire.
If you haven’t got a Triking, tell us about what you have got.
If you haven’t got a three wheeler, tell us what you are doing about it.

The good old search box on the top right will reveal those responsible in the past. Try triking shirt or sweat shirt.

Since Tony seems desperate for input from somebody (presumably at this time of year it’s more fun driving your Triking than talking about it), I thought I’d add a couple of photos of the rear end of my Triking build – in – progress. I decided to keep the rear mudguard of my donor bike, and am actually painting the rest of the car (using spray cans) the same colour as the original bike. I built the container on the opposite side to the fuel tank to hold sundry items – the back part is not as deep as the front in order to get the spindle out of the rear wheel if necessary. The “rod” on top of the mudguard is the support for the hinged boot lid which I’ve constructed (Type 2). I’ll show photos of that when I get the body back on.
Hope everybody’s enjoying the summer weather in their various vehicles – I hope to join you (5000 miles away) in about a month !

              Nice one Eric.
Can’t help thinking that’s a heavy old lump of steel mudguard!
Do you need to watch the weight for testing over there?
Let us know when and where you are coming over to, I’m sure some of us can meet up with you.

I’m hoping the fact that I only weigh about 10 1/2 stone is going to compensate to some extent – also, I’m planning on pretty leisurely driving – my “hot-rod” days are over.

Are you confusing me with someone else ? Although I’m originally from the UK and come back occasionally, I don’t have any plans for a UK trip in the next year, although some of those get-togethers you have involving boats, castles and pubs make me very jealous !

All is well with my Triking in deepest Wales. I put some new Avons on last month, had an oil-change and a tidy-up the battery compartment, and I’m planning on washing her sometime soon.
Nice August pic on the calendar – if anyone’s noticed! 😀

Indeed a lovely photo adorning my office and my workshop walls. Thank you. What are the details?

Thank you. My Series One on the back road from Builth Wells to Brecon. Taken in August around midday with my cheapie waterproof Fuji kayaking camera – it turned out ok I thought. A good Calendar shot anyway.

David, just don’t put it on here first. Let’s keep it a secret until the calendar is printed. If not selected then there must be a spot to file it on here.

And a cracking little BSA 3 wheeler. V twin powered, engine unknown.

                                  Hi Tony,
The BSA used a Hotchkiss V twin and 3 speed box .

New back wheel & Fournales air shocks (doffs cap to WEG for the tip). The shocks were an ebay £40 bargain, and have made a world of difference, most importantly in the comfort area. Plus, of course, the perfect hotrod look.

I like the basket, although it detracts a little from the “hot rod” look 🙂 You may have to decide between the “ratrod” and “Amish” look

We went to the beach for a cuppa, and fellow ratter turned up on his bobbed ST500. Sorry about the cranked picture…….what happened there?
