Several shots in the various galleries have indicators out on the fenders instead of on a stalk off the main headlight. Any particular protection for wiring or just run it up the stays and under fender?
Also, drive shaft–lock ring is to keep it from sliding BACKWARD toward rear wheel? i.e. it locks in front of the mid-chassis support?
Indicators on the front mudguards are un-sprung weight so light weight items put less stress on the stays than heavy items.
I have successfully run cables through a tube tacked to the bottom edge of the stay, then glued to the underside of the guard with PU adhesive. Out of sight.
